Summertime, Officially

Hello.
Pagans rejoice (oh, we know some who read this blog qualify), the solstice hath arrived and probably passed by the time you read this. However, with the calendar commencement of summer we here at the Unincorporated decided to post mini mix celebrating the the season.

Let's get it started with a cover of a John Hartford from Sara Watkins, formerly of Nickel Creek. She was on Prarie Home Companion this last week.

The Rural Alberta Advantage is a band from Canada. Truth in advertising peoples.

Wait is it 1997 again and the summer radio? Whatever happened to The Sundays?

To finish this seasonal melange, two of the best songs ever, let alone summer-themed. It's always a great post when the Punk'N Center can finish it off with Eddie Cochran and Sam Cooke.

Summertime Blues - Eddie Cochran

Enjoy.
